Akanna Osita-Okeke is the Director of Partnerships and Communications at the Risk Analytics Institute, where he leads strategic partnerships, industry engagement, and communications initiatives supporting the advancement of global risk analytics education. He plays a key role in shaping the Institute’s voice, strengthening collaborations, and expanding its impact across academia and industry.

Akanna brings over 15 years of experience in risk analytics and communications, including:

1. Leading North American member relations at Global Credit Data, strengthening industry collaboration and delivering thought-leadership content.
2. Speaking at international risk conferences and producing high-value communications for global financial institutions.
3. Managing strategic outreach, stakeholder engagement, and brand development within the risk analytics ecosystem.

Prior to this, Akanna held advanced risk analytics roles at ATB Financial, where he:

1. Led development and validation of PD, EAD, and LGD models under IFRS-9 and regulatory frameworks.
2. Supported enterprise stress testing, ICAAP reporting, and multi-year credit risk forecasting.
3. Conducted portfolio modelling, concentration analysis, and economic scenario assessment.
